About Us

South Carolina's big cities, including Columbia, Greenville and Charleston, rely mostly on rivers and reservoirs. That means disinfectant at the tap, and in warm months, earthy tastes from algae in lakes. Along the coast, groundwater can carry sulfur and salt, and many rural homes draw from private wells with iron or low pH. Clear Drop Filtration plans whole house water filtration in Kinards, SC with carbon or catalytic carbon for taste and disinfectant, sediment pre-filters for red clay silt in the Upstate, and iron or odor stages for wells.
